If you love a good brunch, you’re going to want to make a reservation at Venteux Brasserie, Cafe, & Oyster Bar this weekend. Newly opened in the Pendry Hotel Chicago on Michigan Avenue, it’s going to be a weekend staple in no time.
The menu is French-inspired with all the traditional and fusion favorites you need. To start, try the brie en croute with honey, fig, and olive chutney. The sweet and savory balance is the perfect combination to start off your meal! Then, you have to decide on the entree which can be tricky because everything sounds (and tastes) so delicious. If you want to stick with the sweet and savory route, try their duck and waffle, which is a bit of an elegant twist on traditional chicken and waffles. It’s served with honey, butter, and sumac for a real treat! If you want to go full on sweet indulgence, the French toast is the best around. If savory is your cup of tea, try the eggs Benedict and add king crab.
Each Saturday and Sunday they offer a bottomless mimosa and rose brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. It absolutely books up so don’t pop in without a reservation.
